Services

The service used will depend on the country from which your order is shipped. When you place your order, you will receive tracking information from one of the following service providers:

United Kingdom:
Standard Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-4 business days)
Express Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 business days)

Australia
Standard Australia Post (2-5 business days)
Express Australia Post (1-3 business days)

International - Delivered Duties Paid:
DHL Economy Express - Available to select European countries (2-4 business days)
Teleship Standard - Available to select European countries and the following additional countries: U.S.A., Canada, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong (delivery times show at checkout)

International - Delivered Duties Unpaid:
Royal Mail Standard International - Available to select International countries (10-60 business days)

Not all deliveries using this service will incur duties, we just don't collect them on your behalf and advise you to check with your local authority before purchasing. Any orders refused at port will be refunded minus incurred postage costs and a £5 admin fee.

Complimentary Shipping

We are pleased to offer complimentary domestic and international shipping for all destinations for orders over a certain value.

The list below shows the minimum order value for some of our most popular shipping destinations.

United Kingdom: £40
Australia: $100
International: £65 (in equivalent local currency)

Duties and Taxes

We ship to a selected list of international destinations using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping.

For these countries, all applicable duties, taxes, and VAT are calculated and paid at checkout, so no additional charges are due on delivery.

All international orders listed below are fulfilled from our UK location. Orders shipped within Australia are fulfilled domestically.

European Union (EU)

For the following EU countries, orders are shipped DDP:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden

  • VAT is included in the item price
  • No duties or VAT are payable on delivery

Non-EU Europe

For the following European countries, orders are shipped DDP:

Norway, Switzerland

  • Any applicable import taxes or duties are calculated and paid at checkout
  • No additional charges are due on delivery

North America

For the following countries, orders are shipped DDP:

United States, Canada

  • Any applicable local taxes, duties, and handling fees are shown at checkout
  • Paid in full at the time of purchase
  • No surprise charges on delivery

Asia-Pacific

For the following countries, orders are shipped DDP:

New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong

  • All applicable taxes, duties, and handling fees are calculated at checkout
  • Paid before shipment
  • No additional charges on delivery

Middle East

For the following countries, orders are shipped DDP:

United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia

  • All applicable duties, taxes, and handling fees are shown at checkout
  • Paid at the time of purchase
  • No additional charges on delivery

Other International Destinations (Non-DDP)

We also ship to additional international destinations not listed above. Orders shipped to these countries are not sent DDP.

For these destinations:

  • Duties, taxes, and handling fees are not included at checkout
  • Any applicable charges may be requested by local customs or the delivery carrier before or upon delivery
  • These charges are the responsibility of the recipient

Shipping availability and customs requirements vary by country and are set by local authorities.

If we’re unable to ship to your destination for any reason, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.

Processing Times

UK and International orders are shipped from the UK, and Australia domestic orders are shipped from Australia.

Orders are generally processed within 1 business day and are shipped as below:

• Orders placed before 9AM on a business day are processed same day
• Orders placed after 9AM on a business day are processed following day
• Orders placed after 9AM on a Friday are processed the following Monday

NOTE: Public holidays and sales periods may delay dispatch or shipping, and the above times are estimates only

Tracking

Tracking information will be sent to your via email and/or text message depending on the country from which your order is being shipped.

Our team cannot provide any delivery updates beyond what is shown on the tracking links you are sent.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns Policy

Domestic (UK and Australia) returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Any returns outside of the 30-day period may be accepted at the discretion of SHYU.

Please note:

• Products that have been tried on, worn, or are no longer in ‘new’ condition in the original packaging cannot be returned unless faulty. This is a legal requirement for hygiene reasons and there are no exceptions to this.
• You are responsible for the cost of the return shipment.
• We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you fees and expenses if the returned product is received in a condition that is not in line with our returns policy.

To request a return, please firstly familiarise your self with the policy.

United Kingdom:

We are pleased to offer printer free returns for UK orders via Royal Mail. For £2 you can organise a return using the link below and then follow instructions to get your item back to us.

Shipping costs for returned items will not be included in your refund. If returned items are not in the condition specified in our policy, items will not be refunded and will be returned to you.

Delivery Issues

Please check your tracking link for the latest update on your delivery, and follow instructions on there if you incur any delivery issues.

If the carrier is unable to deliver your item due to incorrect information provided (such as missing address details), or it is not collected from a post outlet, your order will be returned to us.

We will be in contact once we receive your return to arrange a re-delivery. Please note: the re-delivery will be at the your expense.

On request, you may be refunded the value of your order excluding original and return shipping fees, as well as a £5 administration charge.

Exchanges

We are unable to offer direct exchanges on any items. If you would like to exchange an item, you can do so by following the returns process above and placing a new order after we issue a refund.

Amending an Order

We are normally unable to amend orders after they have been placed as we generally dispatch orders as quickly as we can.

If you do need to make any changes to your order, including the items, quantities and delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible at info@shyusocks.com.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to see and action your request before it is shipped.

Cancelling an Order

If you do wish to cancel an order you must contact us at info@shyusocks.com as soon as possible after the order is placed.

Due to how quickly our orders are dispatched we cannot guarantee all order cancellation requests.
